Ecomunity (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Ecomunity mobile application and website (ecomunity.app). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

• Account information: name, email, username, password (encrypted)
• Profile information: bio, avatar, banner, social links
• Usage data: tasks completed, XP earned, streak activity, app interactions
• Device information: device type, OS version, push notification token
• Content you create: posts, comments, messages, journal entries, notes
• Language and timezone preferences

• To provide and improve the Ecomunity service
• To personalize your experience and AI mentor responses
• To send push notifications about your activity
• To generate your personalized ecommerce roadmap
• To display your profile to other community members
• To process subscription payments (via RevenueCat)
• To analyze app usage and improve features

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:

• AI providers (Anthropic) to power the mentor feature
• Payment processors (RevenueCat, Apple, Google) for subscription management
• Analytics services to improve the app
• Law enforcement when required by law

Your data is stored securely on servers located in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data
• Object to data processing

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete all your personal data within 30 days.

Ecomunity is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We send push notifications to remind you about your streak, new achievements, and community activity. You can disable notifications at any time in Settings → Notifications or in your device settings.

We will notify you of any material changes to this Privacy Policy via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
